If your tea pal is in the room with you you can break out together, and discuss your letters.

We will keep the rooms to 5-10 people so that it is not overwhelming.

Leaf grades - Chinese black teas had always consisted of whole leaves, but the mechanical rollers used by Indian and Sri Lankan tea makers under British rule generated a plethora of leaf particles. To distinguish them from one another, they developed the letter system below:
S = Special
F = Fancy
T= Tippy
G = Golden
F = Flowery
B = Broken
O = Orange
P = Pekoe
1 = Number 1
How does buying a Mystery box of Tea for myself correlate to having a Tea Pal?
Your Tea Box order has an intake form to help us build you a custom box.
You will be able to fill in the information, if you have already filled it in it is okay to write N/A we have your information stored unless you are updating.
One of the questions leaves you space to write a short or long note to your Mystery Tea Pal. You will also be given the option to keep your tea pal from a previous time.

Giving back to the community
Several of our community are crafters. Our goal is to have them highlighted inside our boxes!

I know that my favorite teas come from those who have sent them to me from their own blends.

Lydia Flynn is our very own gift basket and cubes, specialist! I will be ordering specialty teas and other things, to be shipped to her so she can help put things together.
​
If you are out of the country we will order from specialty shops local to you to guarantee delivery. But rest assured you will have something in the mail from our community as well. I am just not sure it will arrive on time.
